My grandfather was a baptist preacher, and while I did not receive his gifts for oratory, he did hand down the belief that giving back is not just positive, it's also a responsibility. 

At Kairos, we live to serve. Be it serving our customers, serving our employees or serving our communities. It's part of our DNA.

Pay it Forward

I was honored to host 20 or so youth from neighborhoods across Miami. We had them visit our offices at The LAB Miami and speak with myself and other LAB Members about our experiences, the ups and downs of startup and some of our own challenges growing up. 

We also got the chance to show them some great tech and talk about topics like facial recognition, 3D Printing, and Virtual Reality. (All of which are coming out of The LAB Miami).

 

I have to say, these kids were AMAZING! Strong questions, inquisitive minds, and a yearning to understand the economics behind all of our businesses. In many ways, I was as much a recipient from this session as I was a facilitator. These children have so much energy, and positive spirit. It's invigorating. 

At Kairos, we are inspired by humanity. It's always a good day when we spend our time in the community, serving and learning.
