Can Facial Recognition Prevent Car Accidents?

At Kairos, nothing makes us more happy than seeing facial recognition used for good. Our favorite story this week comes from AT&T’s Connected Intersections Challenge, a tech challenge aimed at building apps to improve New York City’s traffic safety.The Anti-Sleep Alarm monitors a driver’s fatigue level through facial recognition and plays sounds or asks the driver to shake their hand if it detects a drop in their alertness.
